It's been almost two months since I took the leap and started my own aircraft sales and acquisitions firm, Mikolay Jet Group. And let me tell you, it's been a whirlwind of emotions, challenges and triumphs since then.
First off, I just want to take a moment to express my gratitude. The support and feedback I've received from clients and industry partners have been nothing short of amazing. It means the world to me to have such incredible support as I embark on this new chapter in my career.
One of the things I'm really proud of with Mikolay Jet Group is the "Group" component. Over the past 25 years in this industry, I've been fortunate to meet and work with some truly exceptional professionals. And now, I get to rely on their expertise and collaborate with them to provide the best service possible to my clients. If I don't have the answer, you can bet I know someone who does. And I'm more than happy to make those connections and referrals to ensure my clients get the absolute best.
Starting this business has hands down been the most challenging and rewarding thing I've ever done. Every day brings something new, and I wouldn't have it any other way. There's this incredible sense of satisfaction and freedom that comes with being the one calling the shots and building relationships on my own terms.
Perhaps the best part is the ability to say to our clients that I don't work for myself or a company... I work solely for them!
And speaking of relationships, let me take a moment to shout out two incredible clients who've had my back just as much as I've had theirs over the past 15 years. Your testimonials mean the world to me, and I'm beyond grateful for your unwavering support.
But none of this would have been possible without my family as well as my personal board of advisors. You know who you are, and I couldn't have gotten to where I am today without your guidance, encouragement and occasional kick in the pants.
